BLS Provider : (Formerly BLS Health Care Provider)

Basic Life Support (BLS) is recommended for anyone in the healthcare profession.

This may included: Physician, Nurses, Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians, Police Officers, Firefighters, Respiratory, Physical, and Occupational Therapists, Physician Assistant, Residents, Medical or Nursing students in training, Aides, medical assistant or nursing assistants and other allied health personnel.

Course Content

  • describe the importance of high-quality CPR and its impact on survival
  • describe all of the steps of the Chain of Survival and apply its BLS concepts
  • recognize the signs of someone needing CPR
  • perform high-quality CPR on adults, children, and infants
  • describe the importance of early AED use and demonstrate using one
  • provide effective ventilations with a barrier device
  • describe the importance of teams in multi rescuer resuscitation and perform as an effective team member during multi rescuer CPR
  • describe the technique for relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants.

ACLS (Advance Cardiovascular Life Support)

This advanced course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes. This course builds on the foundation of lifesaving basic life support (BLS) skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR.

Designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies.

  • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
  • Airway Management
  • ACLS Pharmacology
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) review
  • Management of acute coronary syndromes and stroke
  • How to be both a leader and a team member in a resuscitation team

This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, and paramedics, as well as others who need an ACLS course completion card for job or other requirements.

The Heart Saver CPR AED course provides training for anyone who wants to learn CPR.

This class is recommended for : Fitness professionals, Trainers, Aerobics, business owners, family members or anyone who has a duty to respond to job emergency responsibilities or regulatory requirements.

Heart Saver First Aid:

The Heart Saver First Aid course provides training for anyone who wants to learn Basic First Aid.

This class is recommended for: Security and airline personnel, Camp counselors, police and firefighters, teachers and daycare workers, aerobics, teachers/physical fitness trainers, anyone who has a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, other individuals who want or need first aid

Course Content

  • First aid basics including: scene safety, finding the problem, calling for help (and more)
  • Medical emergencies including: actions for choking, breathing problems, shock (and more
  • Injury emergencies including: actions for bleeding, broken bones, burns (and more)
  • Environmental emergencies including: actions for bites and stings, temperature-related and poison emergencies

Heart Saver First Aid CPR/AED:

The Heart Saver First Aid CPR/AED course provide training for anyone who want to learn CPR and First Aid until emergency medical services (EMS) .

This class is recommended : Security and airline personnel, Camp counselors, police and firefighters, teachers and daycare workers, aerobics teachers/physical fitness trainers, anyone who has a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, other individuals who want or need first aid, CPR/AED training.

The Heart Saver Blood Borne Pathogens course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for blood borne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.

This class is recommended: Industry and manufacturing, Fortune 500 companies, Occupational health, Property management, hospitality, health and fitness, childcare, schools, maintenance, security, state corrections facilities and tattoo design.
